You need:
- 2 tablespoons of beeswax (30 g)
- 1 tablespoon of coarse salt (15 g)
- Liquid soap (as necessary)
- The juice of 1/2 lemon
- Cotton rag or soft towel
Instructions
- To clean the stainless steel, you will first use the tablespoons of beeswax. Rub it on the surface and let it solidify.
- When it’s done, sprinkle a tablespoon of coarse salt on top.
- Then rub it in vigorously with the cotton cloth or soft towel. At this point, you will begin to notice that the steel begins to regain its shine.
- However, for it to be completely clean, you will need to make a soapy solution. Combine the liquid soap with a little water and spray it on.
- Then rub again with the cloth and rinse. Avoid using scouring pads and powdered soaps, as they can scratch the material.
- Dry with a clean cloth and, finally, rub it with a damp cloth impregnated with lemon juice. The properties of this ingredient are the final complement to make the steel elements like new.
- Of course, to keep the stainless steel in perfect condition, you must repeat this cleaning process every 2 or 3 weeks.
Other recommendations
